Hand-lettered “Mahal Kita” design variations to determine which colorway works best. The design features the words “Mahal Kita” which is Tagalog for “I love you” and “Mahal Kita” in Baybayin, a pre-colonial Tagalog script.
Filipino Student Association, Annual Sweater
The back design for the “Kultura” sweater, created with the intention to represent Filipino culture. It features the national flower (Sampaguita), national animal (Caribou) and one of the national landmarks (Chocolate Hills). The front chest design features hand-written Baybayin (pre-colonial Tagalog script) translated to “Kultura” and surrounding illustrations of Sampaguitas.
